On April 10, 2025, Saskatchewan updated the processing time of various streams of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). According to the new data, in the first quarter of 2025, in the International Skilled Worker category, the processing time in the Employment Offer stream was 12 weeks; in the Tech Talent Pathway, the processing time was 15 weeks, while for Agriculture and Health Talent Pathways, it was 5 weeks. For the Hard-to-Fill Skills Pilot, the processing time was 13 weeks. In the Saskatchewan Experience category, the processing times for the Existing Work Permit and International Students streams were 13 and 17 weeks, respectively. In the Entrepreneur and Farm category, all applications and nomination requests are aimed to be processed within 12 weeks. For second review request applications with job offers, the processing time was 2 weeks, and for those without job offers, it was 4 weeks. The Job Approval Process, the authorization for an employer to hire a foreign worker through the SINP, took 2 weeks for all workers.
