The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has released an updated version of the Use of Representative form. The new form allows clients to appoint or cancel representatives, permits representatives to withdraw representation, and includes options for indicating pro bono cases. The form must be used to notify IRCC about changes to representative contact information, cancelling current representation, appointing new representatives, or withdrawing as a representative. IRCC will continue accepting the previous version until June 1, 2025, but encourages immediate adoption of the updated form.
