New Brunswick has successfully integrated ten international family physicians through its Practice Ready Assessment program, establishing Canada’s first provincial bilingual licensing pathway. These healthcare professionals have entered into a three-year service commitment and will deliver care across multiple communities, including Moncton, Campbellton, Bathurst, Miramichi, and Woodstock. The Horizon and Vitalite health networks will enhance medical access for approximately 10,000 to 15,000 residents. This strategic initiative, backed by $313 million in federal-provincial funding, represents a significant advancement in strengthening the province’s healthcare infrastructure.
