On April 14, 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held the first Express Entry draw #342 after the CRS points change. In this draw, the Government of Canada issued 825 Invitations to Apply (ITA) for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates. This round’s cut-off score was 764 points, 28 more than the previous PNP-targeted draw. The tie-breaking rule for this round was August 17, 2024, at 18:35:52 UTC. As of April 13, 2025, 244,282 profiles were registered in the Express Entry pool. In 2025, the Government of Canada invited 31,508 Express Entry candidates, including 3,658 PNP candidates.
