On April 17, 2025, Manitoba conducted its latest draw, #243, within the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). This draw focused on the Skilled Worker Overseas (SWO) stream, extending 27 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to eligible candidates. Notably, the minimum required score was 621 points, a 100-point decrease from the previous SWO draw. In this draw, the province invited candidates under the strategic recruitment initiative. In 2025, the MPNP invited 692 candidates, and 152 of them declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
