Demonstrating strategic leadership ahead of the April 28 federal elections, Immigrant Services Society of BC (ISSofBC) has established a collaborative partnership with more than 90 community organizations and business groups nationwide to propose comprehensive immigration reform. The coalition, which formally commenced operations on April 15, 2025, articulates the imperative for an integrated approach that advances mutual prosperity and societal advancement. Through the “The Canada We Believe In” initiative, the coalition advocates for an equitable and adaptable system that effectively addresses newcomer integration while preserving Canada’s distinguished status as a nation of opportunity.
