The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is launching a new Employer Portal on July 2, 2025, marking a major digital transformation from the current paper-based process. This secure and user-friendly platform will enable employers to submit employment position details directly, allowing applicants to register an Expression of Interest (EOI) only after the details are submitted. This shift from an applicant-led to an employer-led process will streamline the process. Key features of the portal include seamless integration with My Ontario, secure document uploads, auto-populated fields, online application management, and improved communication with the program. In preparation for the launch, no new EOIs can be submitted between June 20 and July 2, and all existing EOIs under the Employer Job Offer streams will be automatically withdrawn on June 21–22. Additionally, the entire OINP system will be unavailable from June 27 to June 29. Once the new portal opens, employers can register and provide job offer details, allowing applicants to re-register their EOIs. These new EOIs will be valid for 12 months.
