On July 14, 2025, Saskatchewan updated the processing time of various streams of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). According to the new data, in the second quarter of 2025, the processing times for the Employment Offer stream in the International Skilled Worker category were 12 weeks, for the Tech Talent Pathway, 13 weeks, and for the Agriculture and Health Talent Pathways, 4 weeks. For the Hard-to-Fill Skills Pilot, the processing time was 29 weeks. In the Saskatchewan Experience category, the processing times for the Existing Work Permit and International Students streams were 11 and 8 weeks, respectively. The SINP did not provide an update regarding the processing times for applications in the Entrepreneur & Farm category, as the program has permanently closed all Entrepreneur and Farm immigration pathways, effective March 27, 2025. For the second review request, applications with and without job offers had an average application processing time of 4 weeks. The Job Approval Process, which authorizes an employer to hire a foreign worker through the SINP, took 2 weeks for Health, Agriculture, and Skilled Trades, and 4 weeks for other sectors.
