According to the 2022‒2024 Immigration Levels Plan, Canada is planning to accept the highest targets in the history of Canadian immigration. One of the largest increases will be in the Federal High Skilled category, which accommodates the applications of international graduates of Canadian institutions. The Canadian Government will increase the number of applications in this category from 55,900 in 2022 to 111,500 in 2024. Canada currently accepts international students under the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class. However, starting from 2024, the number of applicants accepted under these programs will be increased at least twice.
