On May 21, 2025, Alberta released an update regarding the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) and the results of its recent immigration draws. According to the new update, there were 3,068 applications to be processed and 2,798 nomination spaces remaining for 2025. The number of expressions of interest for all streams or pathways in the selection pool was 58,204. On May 13, 2025, Alberta held a new invitation round in the Alberta Opportunity Stream and issued 125 invitations with a minimum score of 76. Additionally, on May 15, the province invited 33 Tourism and Hospitality Stream candidates who scored 72 points or more. So far, Alberta has invited 1,283 candidates through the AAIP streams this year.
