On May 28, 2025, British Columbia held a new draw under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP). The BCPNP issued nine invitations to candidates in the Base Category of the Entrepreneur Stream, which is designed for experienced businesspeople who wish to start a new business or acquire an existing business in British Columbia. The lowest score of this round was 115 points. In addition, the province invited up to five candidates in the Entrepreneur Immigration – Regional Pilot category with a minimum score of 123. Last year, British Columbia invited up to 80 business candidates through the Entrepreneur draws. So far this year, the province has issued only 136 invitations under the BCPNP, with up to 42 of them going to entrepreneurs.
