Over the last week, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held new draws in the pools of International Experience Canada (IEC). From October 3 to October 9, Canada invited 832 young foreigners to apply for an IEC open work permit. As of October 7, there are 26,528 candidates registered in the pool, waiting for the invitation. In this round, there were 127 ITAs for Australia, 7 ITAs for Austria, 17 ITAs for Belgium, 2 ITAs for Chile, 1 ITA for Costa Rica, 2 ITAs for Croatia, 24 ITAs for the Czech Republic, 1 ITA for Denmark, 1 ITA for Estonia, 179 ITAs for France, 63 ITAs for Germany, 2 ITAs for Hong Kong, 120 ITAs for Ireland, 10 ITAs for Italy, 114 ITAs for Japan, 4 ITAs for Lithuania, 1 ITA for Luxembourg, 12 ITAs for the Netherlands, 52 ITAs for New Zealand, 12 ITAs for Poland, 29 ITAs for Portugal, 7 ITAs for Slovakia, 1 ITA for Slovenia, 5 ITAs for Spain, 10 ITAs for Sweden, 4 ITAs for Switzerland, 5 ITAs for Taiwan, and 20 ITAs for the United Kingdom. In 2022, Canada issued 114,769 ITAs under the IEC Program.
