As of March 31, 2025, the Home Care Worker Child Care Pilot and Home Support Pilot have reached their maximum application capacity on their initial launch date. The programs, each offering 2,750 positions with 150 specifically designated for out-of-status workers, suspended their online application process the same day. Although applications through alternative formats remain available, the primary online portal will not resume operations until 2026. Currently, the launch date for the “Applicants not working in Canada” streams within both pilot programs remains pending.
