According to the latest statistics, international arrivals to Canada decreased by 15.2% in April 2025 compared to the previous year, marking the third consecutive month of declining numbers. The data reveals that non-resident air arrivals totalled 632,600, showing a 1.2% decrease, while US-resident automobile trips dropped by 10.7% to 820,700. Despite these declines, overseas resident arrivals showed a modest increase of 2.8%, and significant spikes in travel were observed during the Easter holiday period, with Good Friday seeing notably higher traffic than regular weekdays.
