IRCC conducted a new draw for Skilled Trades candidates under Express Entry

On October 23, 2024, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) finally held an occupation-specific Express Entry draw for candidates working in one of the skilled trades occupations and issued 1,800 Invitations to Apply (ITA). In round #321, the cut-off score was 433, three points fewer than the previous draw for this category-based selection. The tie-breaking rule for this round was March 12, 2024, at 14:30:36 UTC. As of October 22, 2024, 211,780 profiles were registered in the Express Entry pool. This year, Canada issued 90,835 ITAs through 43 Express Entry draws.
