Over the last week, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held new draws in the pools of International Experience Canada (IEC). From March 25 to March 31, Canada invited 2,584 young foreigners to apply for an IEC open work permit. As of March 31, there were 21,472 candidates registered in the pool, waiting for the invitation. In this round, there were 2 ITAs for Andorra, 84 ITAs for Australia, 3 ITAs for Austria, 10 ITAs for Belgium, 13 ITAs for Chile, 12 ITAs for Costa Rica, 2 ITAs for Croatia, 24 ITAs for the Czech Republic, 7 ITAs for Denmark, 1 ITA for Estonia, 271 ITAs for France, 60 ITAs for Germany, 5 ITAs for Greece, 4 ITAs for Hong Kong, 68 ITAs for Ireland, 25 ITAs for Italy, 45 ITAs for Japan, 74 ITAs for Korea, 2 ITAs for Lithuania, 16 ITAs for the Netherlands, 24 ITAs for New Zealand, 7 ITAs for Norway, 14 ITAs for Poland, 25 ITAs for Portugal, 7 ITAs for Slovakia, 1 ITA for Slovenia, 29 ITAs for Spain, 21 ITAs for Sweden, 13 ITAs for Switzerland, 27 ITAs for Taiwan, and 110 ITAs for the United Kingdom. In 2023, Canada issued 66,847 ITAs under the IEC Program.
