On June 29, 2023, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In round #184, the MPNP held a new occupation-specific candidate selection under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba (SWM) stream and invited 315 applicants who scored 613 points and above. Manitoba also issued 184 LAAs in the regular SWM draw. The minimum score for the LAA in this category was 662 points, three points fewer than the previous draw. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 26 LAAs to candidates invited under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The lowest score in the SWO category was 717 points, one point fewer than in the previous draw. In addition, 62 invitations were issued in the International Education Stream. Manitoba has issued LAAs to 587 candidates, including 162 Express Entry candidates for this round. In 2023, MPNP invited 7,298 candidates, and 1,943 of them received invitations in the Express Entry.
