On March 10, 2022, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) published new nomination issuance statistics. In February 2022, the province nominated 210 skilled workers and 2 business investor stream candidates. Manitoba also refused 5 skilled worker applications. MPNP invited 551 skilled workers and 2 business concepts. In February, MPNP received 842 applications from skilled workers and 2 applications from business candidates. Currently, the province is assessing 571 applications, and the other 2,280 applications are pending assessment. Additionally, Manitoba nominated 144 Express Entry candidates.
