On June 7, 2022, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) published new nomination issuance statistics. In May 2022, the province nominated 529 skilled workers and approved 1 business. Manitoba also refused 9 skilled worker applications. MPNP invited 328 skilled workers, and 6 business concepts and issued 4 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs). In May, MPNP received 431 applications from skilled workers and 2 business applications. Currently, the province is assessing 511 applications, and the other 2,014 applications are pending assessment. Additionally, Manitoba nominated 68 Express Entry candidates. In total, in 2022, Manitoba has nominated 2,178 candidates.
