On November 7, 2022, the Government of New Brunswick launched a new immigration stream called the New Brunswick Critical Worker Pilot (NB CWP) to encourage skilled workers to relocate and fill positions difficult to staff. With this new stream, employers have more freedom in assisting newcomers with skills training, language acquisition, and integration into provincial life. The five-year pilot program will be monitored and evaluated regularly, ensuring that it is always responsive to immigration needs and providing the best possible outcomes for the province.
