Canada has recently allowed Ukrainian nationals and their eligible family members to apply for the restoration of status without paying any fees. Before, Ukrainian citizens were exempted from paying fees for temporary resident visas, temporary resident permits, temporary resident status extensions (visitor records), study permits and extensions, work permits and extensions (including open work permits), and even biometrics. This is a significant development for Ukrainian nationals seeking to enter or stay in Canada. With the elimination of these fees, more individuals can now apply for the necessary permits and visas to travel or work in Canada.
