On March 17, 2022, the Government of Canada announced that starting from April 1, 2022, fully vaccinated travellers are not required to provide a pre-entry COVID-19 test result to enter Canada. Until that date, all fully vaccinated travellers are subjected to mandatory random testing. All unvaccinated or partially-vaccinated travellers 5 years of age or older who are currently allowed to travel to Canada will have to follow pre-entry testing requirements. All travellers, as well as returning Canadian residents still will have to provide mandatory information in ArriveCAN within 72 hours prior to their arrival in Canada.
