On August 11, 2022, Prince Edward Island announced that the province has introduced the exchange process of a Ukrainian driver’s licence. Starting from Monday, August 15, Ukrainian nationals will be able to exchange their full-stage Ukrainian Category B (including BE) passenger vehicle licenses for the province’s Class 5 license without a written exam or road testing. Ukrainian newcomers will have to provide their valid driver’s license from other countries and/or a translated copy of their driver’s license in French or English and two documents illustrating their current address in the province.
