Effective immediately, this four-stream program replaces the previous Regular Skilled Worker Program, with an enhanced focus on French language proficiency and Quebec experience. The new system prioritizes individuals already residing in Quebec, especially French speakers with local work or educational experience in regions facing labour shortages. Invitations will begin gradually in July 2025, with specific criteria published after each selection round. Interested applicants must submit or update their declarations of interest through the Arrima system.
