The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) has implemented significant changes effective April 1, 2025. The program now accepts the Pearson Test of English (PTE) Core test for all immigration streams, expanding language testing options for applicants. Additionally, the province has adjusted AAIP’s worker stream application fee to $1,500, aligning with service delivery costs. The program maintains its existing fee structure for other services, including entrepreneur stream applications at $3,500 and various support requests (reconsideration, letter of support, nomination extension requests, etc.) ranging from $150 to $250.
