As of June 15, 2023, French-speaking foreign nationals living outside Quebec can work in any occupation (excluding the agriculture sector) under the Francophone Mobility Program. To be eligible, applicants must prove they have speaking and listening skills equivalent to a Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) / Niveaux de competence linguistique canadiens (NCLC) level 5 or higher. Candidates who meet all requirements of section R200 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR) will help increase the competitiveness of Canada’s academic institutions or economy.
