Due to the growing number of COVID-19 cases, the Government of Canada had suspended all direct flights from Morocco. The travel ban, that was in effect from August 29 will be lifted at 00:01 EDT on October 29. Fully vaccinated as well as unvaccinated travellers who are eligible to enter Canada will need to follow additional measures. All travellers must provide either a negative COVID-19 molecular test result documented in the Moroccan COVID-19 PCR Test Certificate, taken within 72 hours before departure or instead of a negative test, a previous positive test result taken between 14 and 180 days before departure to Canada. Before boarding, air operators will check passengers’ Moroccan COVID-19 PCR Test Certificates by scanning the digital QR codes.
